Learn corset making from an experienced corsetière
Moody Corsetry runs two separate courses to aid you in your corset-making journey. All courses are held in the Moody Corsetry Studio (Surrey, UK) and have a maximum capacity of three students to ensure you really get close tuition to support your learning.
Beginners corsetry is a three day course and ideal for someone looking to take their first steps into corset making. No prior corset making experience is required for this course, just some basic sewing experience. You will complete this course with a single layer corset fit to your body, your bespoke pattern and all the knowledge you’ll need to make corsets at home. This course is run twice a year; in the spring and the autumn.
Intermediate corsetry is a two day course for those looking to expand their knowledge and take their corset making to the next level. Ideal for those who have attended the beginners course, or who are confident in making single layer corsets. You will complete this course with a series of samples demonstrating the new skills you have learned. This course is run once a year in early summer.
